My name appears French but I would struggle to order a coffee and croissant in a French cafe. 

 

I love to be outside in nature, accompanied by an ordnance survey map and sunshine. Ideally with a pub lunch or coffee and cake en route.

 

If eating and drinking could be classed as hobbies, these are my favourite things to do. Perhaps napping comes a close second.

 

I love to play board games and I am particularly addicted to Settlers of Catan. When I am entertaining this game frequently makes an appearance.

 

Reading is also a passion of mine. However, the pile of unread books never goes down as I read one and buy two more.

 

I love meeting people and hearing their stories, what makes them feel alive or what weighs them down. As a counsellor, I offer gentleness and compassion, challenge when it’s welcome, humour when laughter can heal, and room for tears when they need to fall.

 

I also love data, spreadsheets and strategic thinking. I have worked as a Financial systems controller, Data analyst, Payroll administrator and Head of Operations and Finance.

 

I am a qualified experienced counsellor working with individuals and those in a relationship. I thoroughly enjoy being a supervisor, working as a clinical lead for a counselling charity and I am also a tutor of counselling skills.
